Research Interests
My research interests are in the civic attitudes and behaviors of teenagers. I am especially interested in the community service efforts of young people. I want to understand how and why young people try to make the world a better place and how communities can tap into teenagers as an energetic resource. I favor a mixed methods approach to research with an emphasis towards quantitative methods.
